Getting started

Stayvalor is a property operating system for boutique hotels, luxury resorts, and serviced residences. It brings Front desk, Reservations, Housekeeping, Billing & POS, Guest portal, and Corporate accounts into one platform.

When you subscribe, the onboarding team walks you through property profile, rooms and room types, rate plans, taxes, payments, team roles, migration, and training. There is no setup fee.

  • Property profile: name, address, time zone, currency, logo, and colours.
  • Rooms: room types, individual rooms, numbers, and floors.
  • Rates: base rates, packages, seasonal rules, and corporate rates.
  • Payments: Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave, cash, and EFT.
  • Team: invite staff and assign roles for owner, manager, front desk, housekeeping, and accounting.

Migration

Stayvalor handles migration with you. The team imports guest profiles, future reservations, rate plans, and corporate accounts from the previous system.

Properties that want to test first can request a sandboxed pilot environment that runs alongside their current PMS before switching.

Front desk

The front desk opens on a one-glance day view: arrivals, departures, in-house count, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, VIPs, late checkouts, and pinned notes.

To check in a guest, open the arrival card, confirm identity and registration details, confirm the room is guest-ready, confirm payment or authorisation, then complete check-in. Digital keys are issued automatically where enabled.

  • Walk-ins create the reservation and folio together.
  • Upgrades and room moves are handled from the tape chart or reservation.
  • Structured shift handover notes can be pinned to the day view, room, or reservation.

Reservations

The tape chart gives a visual command of the house. Drag to extend a stay, move a reservation between rooms, and see pressure dates at a glance.

Group blocks support allotments and cutoff dates. Unsold allotment releases back to general inventory automatically at cutoff.

  • OTA reservations land on the tape chart like direct bookings.
  • Rate plans, packages, seasonal rules, and corporate negotiated rates are applied from the same inventory model.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping runs on a mobile-first room board. Each housekeeper sees assigned rooms, quotas, room status, flags, and inspection tasks.

Room statuses flow from refresh requested to in progress, inspected, and guest-ready. The moment a room is marked guest-ready, the front desk sees it.

  • Deep-clean, turndown, and maintenance flags.
  • Inspection photos attached to room history.
  • Live status sync across front desk and housekeeping.

Billing and payments

Every reservation carries a folio. Teams can run multiple folios per stay, split charges between guests or companies, transfer items, and set routing rules.

Stayvalor supports Stripe, Paystack, and Flutterwave out of the box, alongside offline cash and EFT. Multi-currency is supported so properties can charge in the currency the guest expects.

  • Tax presets for VAT, GST, occupancy, and tourism levies.
  • PDF invoices and receipts emailed from the property's domain.
  • Corporate accounts can receive monthly consolidated invoices and statements.

Guest portal

The guest portal is a branded mobile companion for the stay: pre-arrival registration, ID upload, mobile check-in, digital keys, in-stay requests, dining, concierge, and contactless checkout.

On House and Estate plans, the portal and guest emails are fully white-label with the property's logo, colours, and domain.

Corporate accounts

Create a corporate account, attach negotiated rates per rate plan, set a credit limit, and route eligible charges to the company ledger.

At month end, generate a consolidated invoice and statement per corporate account covering all stays in the period.

Plans, billing, and subscription

Atelier supports up to 30 rooms with front desk, reservations, housekeeping, guest portal, Stripe and local rails, and business-hours email support.

House supports up to 120 rooms and adds Billing & POS, corporate accounts, channel manager sync, white-label portal and emails, and 24/7 priority support.

Estate supports unlimited rooms across properties, multi-property reporting, SSO, audit logs, custom data residency, dedicated success management, and SLAs.

  • No setup fees and no booking commission.
  • Annual billing is available with two months free.
  • Every plan carries a 30-day money-back window.
  • Upgrade or downgrade from Settings > Subscription; changes are prorated.

Security and data

Customer data is encrypted at rest and in transit, with data residency in the region the property chooses. Stayvalor is SOC 2 ready and GDPR-aligned by default.

Guest profiles, reservations, folios, and reports belong to the property. Data can be exported at any time in standard formats.
